I built my own power rack with 2x6's and some parts that were removed from a commercial weight set, as well as some parts from a nation-wide hardware store. Please note I have NOT included the detail for the pulleys, as you will have to source your own pulleys, which may change your design needs. Also, I sized this for standard 4ft steel pipe to be used for the bars that go through the holes in the columns. I use the pipes for safety catches for benching, and for dips, pullups, etc. All dimensions are in feet/inches, and I used 1.5" by 5.5" for nominal wood dimensions. Enjoy!
